LOCAL DELIVERY (Liverpool 'L' postcodes)

How it works:

• Place your order at least 1 day in advance of your chosen delivery date
• Choose 'LOCAL DELIVERY' at checkout
• Make sure that you're eligible for local delivery by entering your postcode
• Choose your delivery date (available 6 days a week - Mon to Sat)              
• We'll then get in touch on the day with a more specific time slot  

Please note: minimum £11 spend required. If you're ordering at least 2 days in advance, delivery will be FREE. Those using our premium next day service will be charged a fee listed in the table above.

NATIONAL DELIVERY (All orders outside of Liverpool)

We are now offering a new UK-wide delivery service with our specialist shipping partner!

This means that if your delivery address doesn't contain an 'L' postcode and you are ordering full-sized cakes, treat boxes, home baking kits or decorations from Cakes By Andrew, you will be charged a fee for delivery.

Our service area currently includes mainland England, Wales and Scotland (excludes KW, IV, AB, PH, DD, PA, KA, AB, HS and ZE postcodes). 

At present, our nationwide delivery service is not available for wedding cakes.

How it works:

• Place your order at least 1 day in advance of your chosen delivery date
• Choose 'NATIONAL DELIVERY' at checkout
• Fill in your postcode using our Postcode Checker
• Choose your delivery date (available 5 days a week: Tues - Sat)        
• Once you’ve ordered, wait for our shipping partner to get in touch (they’ll provide you with an estimated delivery time on the day)
• And that’s it! In the meantime, all you have to do is sit back, relax and wait for your delicious goods to arrive. 😋

Please note: if you're ordering at least 2 days in advance, you will be charged a fee listed in the table above. Those using our next day service or choosing Saturday delivery will be charged an extra premium, also listed above.

How do you ensure that cakes stay safe when they’re sent nationally?

Each full-sized cake and treat box order is sent in two strong cardboard boxes to keep your order safe in transit. We pack the boxes with protective brackets to make sure that your cake/treats stay still when being transported.

Our full-sized cakes are sent frozen to retain freshness and to keep them sturdy, so your parcel will include dry ice to keep your cake cool. Your cake will also contain plastic cake support rods at the bottom to keep it in place. 

Once the cake arrives, you will need to defrost it at room temperature for around 3-4 hours and it will then be ready to eat! If you are planning on eating/cutting your cake on another day, we recommend keeping it in the fridge until then. As mentioned above, your cake will stay fresh for approximately 3-4 days if unopened/uncut and left in the fridge!

What if the recipient is not home?

Due to our cakes being fresh, requiring refrigeration and requested for delivery at a specific day and time by the customer, someone must be available at the delivery address at the time of delivery to receive the goods. If no-one is available we will try to leave the item in a safe place where possible.

Cakes by Andrew take no responsibility for missed deliveries or spoiling of items due to no one being at home, we do not provide refunds if no one is home to receive the goods ordered.
